Meaning of Emergency Management
An emergency is a situation that appears as an immediate risk to the life of an individual especially health and the environment.
Emergency management is the proper planning for preventing emergencies from happening. Emergency management involves creating and developing appropriate plans so as to reduce the risk of unforeseen occurrences in a particular place.
Emergency management is also known as disaster management. In planning for emergencies, the lives of people should first be considered and be regarded as important before considering property, assets, facilities and other things
