Management of ornamental plants involves the following:
- Watering:
Ornamental plants should be watered deeply to moisten all the roots.
- Mulching:
Dry grasses should be placed on the surface to preserve soil moisture.
It acts as an insulating blanket to protect the soil from the drying action of the sun.
