Consequences or effects of Harmful traditional practices
1. Exploitation of children: This is the act of taking advantage of underage children depriving them of their childhood. Examples are; child’s marriage, child labour etc.
2. Deprivation of schooling: Harmful traditional practices such as early marriage will prevent such child to have access to school and education.
3. Deprivation of sexual pleasure: Practices such as circumcision in children and women will affect their sexual pleasure in marriage.
