The crucifixion ( Mattew 27:32-44)
After the soldiers had beaten Jesus, they led him away to crucify him and made him carry his own cross. As they were going, Jesus became tired of carrying his cross. They met a man from Cyrene named Simon and forced him to carry the cross. They got to a place called Golgotha which means a place of a skull, they offered Jesus wine mixed with gall to drink but he refused it because it tasted bad.
