Modern methods of transmitting information
With modern inventions in communication, many ancient methods have been replaced with more efficient modern ways of transmitting information. These include the following:
1. Prints: This is a mark or impression made in or on a surface by pressure. A device or implement such as a stamp die, or seal is used to press markings onto or into a surface. Prints include; printed publications such as a magazine or newspaper, a design or picture transferred from an engraved plate, woodblock, lithographic stone, or other mediums. To output, even to a screen is to print or to transfer conventional writing to a hard copy device e.g. paper. Hence, information is transmitted in form of prints. For example, notice boards and banners that inform the public of an event.
