Roles of Government in the UDHR
1. Protection of individual rights: Enact laws that will protect and ensure that human rights and freedom of individuals are maintained.
2. Establishment of Agencies: Government plays another good role in the UDHR by establishing and funding agencies such as (the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Legal Aid Council. 3. Press Freedom: Government is expected to ensure that freedom of the press is guaranteed.
