ORTHOGRAPHIC DRAWING

The draughtsman or engineer uses two basic methods to represent an object on paper, board, or similar surfaces. The two basic methods are:

  • Orthographic projection
  • Pictorial projection

Orthographic projection is used to show at least three views.
