Meaning of quoted and unquoted company
1. Quoted company is a company whose shares have been accepted for trading on a stock exchange. This makes it easier to raise capital, as shares once issued are made more marketable by being quoted on an organized exchange. Quoted company is a company that has its shares listed on the Stock Market. This automatically qualifies such company as a public company.
