Students should be able to:

  1. State the meaning of livestock management.
  2. State the requirement for good livestock management.
  3. Explain the importance of these management practices in livestock.
  4. Keep farm animals and take care of them at least one ruminant and one non-ruminant.

Content

Rabbits Management

They are mono-gastric animals which belong to the family of Leporidae. They have a simple stomach like that of pigs. The meat is very nutritious and low in cholesterol. It is a suitable alternative to poultry meat. It is better than poultry meat.
