2. Find the HCF of whole numbers.
3. Identify the difference between LCM and HCF.
4. Solve problems on quantitative reasoning using LCM and HCF.
Content.
A factor is a number that can divide another number without a remainder.
Example 1: Calculate the cf of 24 and 30.
24=1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24.
30=1,2,3,5,6,10,15,30.
Common factor=1,2,3,6.
Example 2:Find the HCF of 45,60 and 150.
