Theme: YOU AND ENERGY
Basic science J.S.S.2 Second Term
The student should be able to:
- Solve calculations on work done and power.
Work is said to be done when a force applied to an object moves that object.
We can define work as an activity involving a movement and force in the direction of the force.
Work done = force × distance = F × d
- A force of 30 newtons (N) pushing an object 3 meters in the same direction calculate the work done on the object.
