Performance objectives
The student should be able to:
- State the meaning of self-consciousness.
- Distinguish between the group and communal consciousness.
Content
Self-consciousness means awareness about oneself.
Once an individual is aware or conscious of him/herself, such a person becomes conscious of his or her civic rights and responsibilities to the economy as well as the national. Examples of these responsibilities are; obeying rules and regulations, paying taxes etc.
