Content

Metals

 Metals are solid materials obtained from a natural product known as iron ore found in some places under the earth.

Types of Metals

Metals are classified into two groups namely, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. 

(i). ferrous metals: These are metals that contain iron. As such, they can be attracted to any magnetic properties. Examples include steel, razor blade and nails.
