Performance Objectives

Students should be able to:

  1. Calculate rank correlation coefficient of two distributions.
  2. Illustrate data on a scatter diagram.
  3. Rank a given distribution.

Content

Correlation coefficient is a measure of the degree of association between x  and y . When two variables x  and y  are related, they are said to be correlated. A scatter diagram is a graphic display of bivariate data.
