Meaning of law and the rule of law

Law simply refers to the rules and regulations guiding people’s behaviour in a particular society.

The rule of law refers to the absolute supremacy of the law over everybody, including the ruled and the rulers in a country.

The benefits of the rule of law and against arbitrary rule.
