Look at the diagram below and study what plants are used for

 

Plants are helpful both to animals and man, there are various uses for plants, some are:

1. It provides shelter

2. Serves as a source of food either directly or indirectly

3. Provides jobs and employment for people

4. Serves as a source of income

5. They are a source of raw materials for manufacturing companies

6. It can be used in the production of paper, textiles etc

7. They are used to produce drugs
