Topic: Digging of clay

Objectives: At the end of the lesson pupils should be able to:

1.  dig clay from the school compound

Reference material: shovels and hoes

Content: Digging of clay soil. The following step is how to dig clay soil.

1. Provide tools for digging e.g hoe, shovel e.t.c

2. Look for areas having clay soil.

3. Dig the soil out by using your digging tools.

4. Collect the soil in a bowl.

Evaluation: The teacher asks a student to dig out clay from the school compound.
