Types of packaging materials

There are different types of packaging material that can be used in packaging agricultural products to keep them in good condition prior to tranportation, marketing, storage, consumption etc. Examples includes the following:

1. Boxes: These maybe made of wood or fibre. The size may vary in accordance with the types of item to be packaged. They are mainly used in packaging melon seeds, tomato and dried ginger.
