2. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of fraction.

Content.

Example 1:

3/14+5/14

LCM =14

                    3+5

                    14

=8/14.

Example 2.2/3+1/8+3/4.

LCM of 3,8,4 is 24.

                  8x2+3x1+6x3

                         24

16+3+18

  24

=37/24

=1 16/24.

Example 3: 10 3/6+12 1/8.
