Importance of plants and animals
Plants
1. Plants provide us with raw materials for human use, such as firewood, timber, fibers, medicines, cotton, pesticides, oils, and rubber.
2. Food: Plants serve as food for human consumption e.g. vegetables and grains.
Animals
1. Animals provide us with meat, egg, milk, and butter.
2. Animals provide us with raw materials like leather which can be used to make clothing and items for decoration.
3. The waste product of animals is used as fertilizers for crops.
4. Animal bones can be used to make a wide range of things such as furniture and decorations.
