WEEK EIGHT AND NINE

TOPIC: JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US ON THE CROSS

The greatest love a person will ever have for his friend is to give his life for him. Jesus loves us so much that He gave His life to ay for our sins very many years ago. Apart from dying on the cross for us, Jesu also fulfilled the will of God. This is also the reason why the Book of John chapter # verse 16 says, ‘for God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes Him should not perish but have an eternal.’ This was the main purpose of His coming to the world.

Jesus was very precious in the sight of God, yet God surrendered him to be born as a man and to suffer death on the cross so that man would be saved. This shows God’s great love for us. We should, therefore, accept Jesus as our Lord and saviour.
