Election
The term elections are said to be the act of electing candidates to represent the people of a given country in the government as stipulated in the constitution of that particular country.
Purpose of holding Election
1. It enables voters to elect leaders
2. To hold their leaders accountable for their performance in office.
3. It also enables choices and change of government.
4. Election reinforce the stability and legitimacy of the political community.
5. It justifies the choice of the citizen (voters).
