CHARACTERISTICS OF NUTRITION DEFICIENT PERSON

Some of the characteristics of deficiency are:

  1. Fatigue
  2. Poor night vision
  3. Muscle pain and  weakness
  4. Depression
  5. Easy Bruising
  6. Dry Hair
  7. Tingly Feet and Wobbly Walking
  8. Fragile Finger Nails
  9. Frequent  Infection
  10. Stretch Mark
  11. Cracks in the corners of your mouth.
  12. Ageing in children

CONSEQUENCE OF FAMILY SIZE ON NUTRITION

FAMILY SIZE: it is the number of people in a family and house.

The size of a family can also affect nutrition.

The following are some of the consequences of large family size on Nutrition

  1. Frequent visits to a hospital for medication due to poor nutrition
  2. Lack of enough food
  3. Poor health
  4. They are Victims of diseases like Kwashiorkor, anaemia, and scurvy.
  5. Low child care
  6. Exposure to a dirty environment
  7. Begging
  8. Stunted growth
  9. Lead to Poverty
  10. Starvation
