A. Types of diseases and modes of transfer
Diseases are transmitted from person to person by direct or indirect contact; this is also known as infectious diseases. Certain types of viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi can all cause infectious disease. Examples of infectious diseases:
1. Sexually transmitted disease (STD): These are diseases that can be transmitted through blood contact or sexual intercourse.
2. Eczema: This is a skin disease that can be transmitted through body contact, sharing of soap and sponge, clothes etc.
