Content
STIs, and AIDS
STIs means sexually transmitted infections. These are diseases that spread from person to person through sexual activity, including anal, vaginal, or oral sex.
AIDs means Acquired immuno-deficiency syndrome is an STI. Gonorrhea infection and syphilis are examples of other STI or STDs. Having an STD can make it easier to get HIV/AIDs.
Behaviors that put people at risk for HIV also increase their risk for other STDs. These behaviors include the following:
1. Having sex without a condom.
2. Having sex with many partners, especially anonymous partners.
