A ceramic is an inorganic compound, non-metallic, solid material comprising metal, non-metal or metalloid atoms primarily held in ionic and covalent bonds. A lot of us today live in modern houses with modern facilities. Most of our grand-parents and great-grand-parents did not enjoy some of the recent tools and equipment we have access to and enjoy.
