Meaning of conflict

Conflict is the breakdown of a harmonious relationship, arising from the clash of interest. It can also be defined as a misunderstanding or disagreement between two or more people. Conflict therefore could be seen as the absence of peace. Conflicts arise as people interact in their families, workplace, offices, social clubs, communities and countries.
