Definition of faith

Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Faith is the bedrock and foundation on which the Christian religion is built. It is an absolute trust in God and his power in spite of unfavorable situations. It is man's personal conviction and trust in God arising from a direct personal relationship with God.
