Benefit of humility

The Bible gives us important reasons to live a humble life. They are the following:

1. Upliftment: The lord will lift and exalt such person (James 4:10) 

2. Grace: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

3. Wealth and long life: The reward of humility and the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4)
