Importance of security education

1. It instigates security awareness to students: it is important because it will make the students to be aware of the security threats around them and to be careful in school and society.

2. It helps to reduce crime rates: Crimes and insecurities will be defeated if the people are well equipped with massive security knowledge.

3. Safety of personal risks: Security education is important in schools and society because it will equip the citizen with massive security knowledge about them and their environments. With this, they can protect their selves against attack and danger.

4. It brings rapid development: The absence of crime, danger and insurgency will breed massive economic and social development.

5. It helps individuals to know how to relate with people generally.
