Meaning of Civic Education

Civic education can be defined as the study of society, the rights and duties of citizens to their country.

Importance of civic education

1. It makes people understand their civic rights and responsibilities as citizens of a country.

2. It helps to communicate government duties to the citizens of a nation.

3. It generates concerns on how a civilized society is organized.

Benefits the individuals enjoy as a citizen

1. Citizens enjoy security by the government…
