The Prophecy of Simeon (Luke 2:25-35, 36-40)

There was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, who was righteous and devout, the Holy Ghost came upon him and revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen Jesus. Having been moved by the spirit, he went into the temple and when the parents of Jesus brought him for presentation, Simeon took him in his hands…
