Meaning of discipline

Discipline is the act of obedience to the rules and regulations of society.

It is the ability to control one’s behaviour, activity, or situation at all times.

When someone behaves according to the laws of society. He or she is said to be disciplined.

Attributes of discipline

A disciplined person is expected to have the following attributes:

1. Self-control: This is the ability to control one’s behaviour/emotions without anybody’s supervision.
