The benefits of discipline
A. School
1. Discipline teaches students to be punctual at school
2. Students view the rules as fair and are willing to comply, that is they obey rules and regulations of the school.
3. Students who are disciplined tend to get much better scores and get more benefit from their classes as well.
4. Classrooms are managed well in terms that students respect the teacher and get along with each other.
5. Students who are disciplined do not cheat during the examination.
B. Society
1. It promotes economic and political development: When political office holders and civil servants are financially disciplined, government funds would be used to develop projects rather than being mismanaged or embezzled.
2. Discipline brings about peace in the society: Discipline gives rise to peace, harmony and progress in the society.
3. Discipline creates a crime-free society because disciplined people are decent people.
4. Discipline leads to honesty, truthfulness, endurance and perseverance.
5. It makes people be a law-abiding citizen of society.
