The middlemen

The middlemen are known as the wholesalers and the retailers who specialize in performing activities relating to the purchase and sale of goods in the process of their flow from manufacturer to final consumers or buyers.

Advantages/survival of the middlemen

The middlemen will continue to survive in the channels of distribution because of their importance and functions to both the producer and retailers; these functions cannot be overemphasized.
