Content

Space travel

Space is the environment surrounding the earth, moon and other planets or the area outside the earth’s atmosphere 

Space travel is travelling from the earth to outer space or travelling beyond the earth’s atmosphere.

Purpose of space travel

1. To gather information about the other planets in our solar system.

2. Helps to address fundamental questions about our place in the Universe and the history of our solar system.

3. To help scientists find out the type of weather conditions that exist in outer space and on other planets.

Benefits of space travel

1. It has encouraged us to develop new materials that can also be used on earth

2.Improved technology such as remote sensing equipment.

3. Expanded our understanding of the galaxy and our solar system.
