 Export development strategy is important in the economy of a nation. Government measures in this direction aims at improvement of the export performance of the nation for the general benefits of the economy. The goal is to encourage trade abroad.

Exporting countries face increasing competition and so, have to continuously improve their techniques or quality of goods through research, development studies etc.
