Students should be able to; 1. Factorize quadratic expressions. 2. Solve quadratic equations of the form ab = 0, i.e. a = 0 or b = 0. 3. Construct quadratic equations with given roots 4. Solve problems involving quadratic equations.
Students should be able to; 1. Calculate numbers less than 1 involving multiplication and division using log table 2. Solve simple logarithm equations
Students should be able to; 1. Draw the graphs of quadratic equations with given roots. 2. Read the minimum and maximum values. 3. Obtain the roots of the equations from quadratic equations
Students should be able to; 1. Give examples of the non-examples of simple statements 2. Write the true value of a given statement 3. Negates some simple statement using ‘not’ or ‘it is not true that’ 4. Write the examples of compound statement.
Students should be able to; 1. List the five logical operations and their symbols 2. Write the truth table for the compound statement involving the logical operations. 3. Translate logic symbols
Students should be able to; 1. Give formal definition of an arc, a sector and a segment of a circle 2. Compute the length of an Arc, the perimeter of a sector and the segment of a circle 3. Calculate the areas of a sector and the segment of a circle.
Students should be able to; 1. Explain the relationship between the sector of a circle and a cone 2. Find the surface area and volume of a cone, cuboid and cylinder 3. Calculate the volumes of cube, cuboid and cylinder
Students should be able to; 1. Find the total surface area of Frustum 2. Find the total surface area of cone 3. Calculate the total surface area of Pyramids
Students should be able to; 1. List out triangles 2. Draw a line and bisect it 3. Construct given angles and bisect them
