Meaning of non-communicable diseases and transferable diseases

Non-communicable diseases are diseases that cannot be spread or transmitted from one person to another.

Non-communicable diseases are hereditary, that is, they are in-built, from parent to offspring. They can also be caused by malnutrition and not taking a balanced diet, congenital problems, etc. Examples of non-communicable diseases include sickle cell, obesity, asthma, anaemia, stroke, goitre, ulcer, diabetics, heart failure, dental crisis, epilepsy etc.
