1. Explain what a motif is;

2. Identify the materials used for making a motif;

3. Create simple motifs;

4. Make simple patterns using motifs;

5. Apply colours to patterns.

Instructional material:  Plain white clothe, watercolour with different colours, pencils, ruler, picture, chart and illustrations.
