Performance Objectives

Students should be able to:

  1. Explain the concept of Uniform circular motion
  2. Describe the centripetal force and centripetal acceleration, centrifugal force, angular speed and velocity
  3. List some examples of circular motion


Circular motion is the motion of an object in a circular path or round a circle with constant speed but changing velocity due to change in the direction of travel of the object as the object moves round the circle.
