Goals of Citizenship Education
Citizenship education is directed at achieving the following goals:
1. To educate citizens on their rights
Citizenship education educates citizens on their rights and obligations in the country. Many people are cheated because they are not aware of their rights.
2. To promote knowledge and understanding of the system of government of a particular country.
