Meaning of Citizenship Education

Citizenship education is a process of impacting citizens the acquisition of their rights, and the development of total knowledge, skills and attitudes towards the affairs of their state.

It teaches individuals more about their rights, responsibilities and how to value themselves and the state in which they reside.
