The appropriate response to emergency management at school

1. All staff and students are either evacuated or kept still in the school building depending on the type of emergency.

2. Local emergency should be notified of the situation.

3. Parents should be quickly notified of the situation.

4. Appropriate exit plan and evacuation plan should be in place for students and staffs.

5. A detailed explanation of the crisis and response should be given to parents.
