1. Discuss part of the Nigerian constitution that seeks to promote national consciousness and national unity.
2. State reasons for state creation in Nigeria.

Ways of Promoting National Unity

National unity can be promoted in the following ways:

1. Tolerance: Tolerance for each other, irrespective of religious and ethnic affiliations.

2. Hospitality: Showing care or love especially to the strangers.

3. Non-Discrimination: Living a life devoid of discrimination against other tribes.

4. Inter-tribal marriage: Encouraging inter-tribal marriages, an example of inter-tribal marriage is when a Yoruba woman is allowed to marry an Igbo man.
