Metalworking hand tools are hand tools that are used in the metalworking field. Hand tools are powered solely by the operator.

Marking out tools are hand tools used for marking lines on metal surfaces, or checking alignment, or indicating points or positions on a workpiece. There are several tools for marking out in the art of metalworking. They are surface plate, surface table, scriber, odd-leg callipers, dividers, punches, and the try square.
