Conditions necessary for marriage

  1. Physiological fitness: Marriage is not for children. The persons who want to get married must be physically fit and mature. They must be able to perform the functions expected of them as husband and wife.
  2. Psychological fitness: This is also called emotional maturity. The couple must be mentally stable to face the challenges of in marriage such as raising children, quarrelling, economic instability, divorce, separation and death.
