Example of people who served in the bible, tells the story of Ruth’s service to her mother-in-law Ruth1:7-18.

During the time of judges, there was a famine in the land. A man, Elimelech from Bethlehem in Judea decided to leave for Moab with his wife Naomi. Elimelech and Naomi took their two sons, Mahlon and Chilion and left for Moab. By their action, they demonstrated they lacked faith in God’s power to provide.

Elimelech died, his two sons married Moabite women…
