Safety rules in swimming are various to stay safe around the pool and while in the pool swimming.

  1. Take a shower before getting into the pool.
  2. Always swim with a buddy.
  3. Swim only in areas that have a lifeguard.
  4. Stay out of the water when you are very tired, very cold, or overheated.
  5. Follow all swimming rules posted in the swimming area.
