Content

Microorganisms are tiny organisms which cannot be seen with the naked eye except with the aid of microscopes. Microbiology is the branch of biology involves in the study of microscopic organisms. These microorganisms are ubiquitous and are found in water, air, inside the human body etc. Some of these microorganisms are beneficial, some are harmless, while others cause diseases. The beneficial microorganisms are non-pathogenic while the disease-causing microorganisms are pathogenic.
